Sylnovia is seeking a full-time QA Intern to join our team! As a QA Intern, you will assist our quality assurance team in testing and ensuring the quality of various software projects. This position is remote, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will work closely with experienced QA engineers to learn testing methodologies and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to kick-start their career in software testing and quality assurance.
 

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and QA practices
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Trello
• Ability to work within a team and collaborate effectively
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
• Familiarity with different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance testing)
• Basic understanding of software debugging and troubleshooting techniques
• Knowledge of QA best practices for ensuring software quality and reliability
• Experience with writing and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases, etc.)

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with writing and executing test cases, and reporting bugs
• Exposure to automated testing tools and processes
• Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects
• Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies quickly
